A thirst for understanding his surroundings, from insects, reptiles, bird’s and of course all mammals especially our human species, drove Walter to what he is today. Even today he is inundated with reading about all the changes in physiology, quantum physics, the power of the mind, its emotions that can kill us and so much more. Learning can be tiring, it controls him, he became addicted to “what is discovered next”, he wants to know and then there is the next “why”. Walter knew he was taking a huge venture, because once degreed he had an obligation to keep up, to be like a Scientist, to keep asking Why.
Born in the Republic of Panama among the plethora of botanical and Animal flora, Walter wanted to know more and more about everything around him, the why was always present. His mother would watch as he would get his tools and go into the jungle to look at all that had caught his eye’s. She feared what he might encounter but knew he was best there in the jungle. His dad always said he was destined for the Biological Sciences. Walter had finally come to the realization from reading, he was best suited to become a Pathologist.
His schooling from his Pre-Medical to his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology prepared him to enter Panama’s Universidad de Medicina, oh yes, Walter is bilingual. However, around that time, in the 1970’s, the Political environment had been favoring a more Communistic government.
His time in his natal land was quickly coming to an end. He was sent to Florida to live with his American grandparents, two of the most wonderful, intelligent people. Life changed and after 2 years of utilizing his BS degree in Medical Technology and working at a local hospital, he became bored. The why was haunting him. He saw patients in the different department, having blood samples taken from them to be analyzed, and why kept growing. What was missing in their journey to heal, why would they not get better, what was their cause, why why why. To get closer even more to patients, he enrolled in the University of Miami, Florida, to receive his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After only 18 months, he received his Nursing degree. By now, his teaching ground was the ICU and the Emergency room.
Alternative Healing was raising its head. It made great common sense to Walter. After seeing Chinese Swimmers with round purple bruises on their backs, he went Why, what is that, what does it do? He then enrolled to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and Colon Therapist. He was even more of a changed man. Learning concepts that Allopathic Medicine ridiculed, made perfect common sense to him. He knew there were parts of the Healing process for the whole person were missed by Western Medicine. It was time for a huge leap and the new path.
In 1990, Walter had the opportunity to go to Beijing, China, to witness and study parts of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His experience at an Oncological Hospital with seeing patients during the morning and didactic classes in theory in the afternoon opened his eye even wider. He was changed for Life. When he returned to the United States he immediately enrolled at The Community School of Traditional Chinese Healthcare in Miami, Florida and then to become certified to become a Master Hypnotherapist. His voracious appetite kept growing.
Today he continues to devote his time to understand Health, Mind Healing, Food therapy, Feng Shui, Meditation and more as a Licensed and boarded Acupuncture Physician, Medical Technologist, Nurse and Master Hypnotherapist, sharing his knowledge, teaching others the truth about Healing that has been kept from them.
As Walter still says today “ I have an obligation as a Physician and Nurse, to find the best possible procedures, products and researched Mind/Body knowledge to return my clients to vital Balance Health, We must, here in the USA, steer our ship in a new direction away from what hasn’t worked to what we KNOW works for our patients and clients.”
